Chance the Rapper's new album is imminent. Ahead of the project's release, Chance has revealed the first round of cities he'll be hitting immediately following the drop.
New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Chicago are among the currently announced cities as of Tuesday (March 20). The album itself is expected in July, at least according to comments from Chance himself back in February. Last November, Chance released two presumed standalone singles, "The Man Who Has Everything" and the Joey Purp collab "My Own Thing."
Among Chance's 2019 dates is the massive 50th anniversary celebration of Woodstock that's going down in Watkins Glen on Aug. 16. He's joined on the lineup for the three-day festival by JAY-Z, Miley Cyrus, Run the Jewels, Maggie Rogers, Vince Staples, Pussy Riot, Halsey, and tons more.
Earlier this month, Chance and longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley were married at the Pelican Hill resort in Newport Beach, California. Chance later shared photos from the big day with fans via Instagram:
At some point, fans are still expecting to hear something firm regarding the previously discussed Chance x Kanye West seven-track project. Back in August, West was spotted in Chicago and confirmed he was in town working on the project. "I came out here with Chance to work on his album and I've just been hanging out with my friends," he said. "I love this city and I'mma be here a lot more. It's a super inspiring place that made me who I am and I believe there's some work that I could contribute to."
Coloring Book, Chance's third mixtape, bagged him the Best Rap Album Grammy at the 2017 edition of the annual ceremony.
