Post Malone has already achieved huge success, with a hugely successful No. 1 single and his latest album Beerbongs & Bentleys reaching the No. 1 spot on album charts across the world. Landing the top spot on the Billboard 200, and charts in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, and the UK, it's safe to say he's got one of the year's biggest albums on his hands. However, even he wasn't prepared to receive praise from pop superstar Taylor Swift.
In a video by his manager Dre London posted to Instagram, Post Malone bumped into Taylor Swift backstage at the Billboard Music Awards last night (May 20), and she had nothing but kind words to share with him.
"'Better Now' is so insane, guys," she tells Post as they walk past each other. "I'm so jealous of that song, that hook" she adds as she walks away. Post is immediately appreciative of her thoughts on the Beerbongs & Bentleys highlight, which so far has achieved a peak position of No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Frank Dukes-produced song will undoubtedly get the single push with how well it's done so far, with Swift's support only further helping matters.
Regardless of what happens in his career, Post continues to dominate the charts. With numerous controversies to his name, Republic Records executive Rob Stevenson told The Los Angeles Times, "Post is like the Donald Trump of hip-hop. Things that should've killed his career have only made him bigger."
