Nicki Minaj Reveals Title and Release Date of Upcoming Album

It's called 'Queen.'

On Monday, during the red carpet portion of the Met Gala, and while wearing Oscar De La Renta, Nicki Minaj revealed that her upcoming album will be called Queen. She also stated that we won't have to wait too long to hear it as it's going to be released on June 15.

The project will be her fourth studio album and follows 2014's The Pinkprint.

The album is expected to feature the newly released singles "Barbie Tingz" and "Chun-Li." Nicki also recently dropped the videos for the two tracks.

There you have it. Nothing cryptic about that.

While speaking to Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Minaj remarked that her upcoming Queen album will be her best yet. "This is the best album I've ever in my life created," she said. "I needed to focus and I just didn't know, you know, I wanted to make sure I was writing something that was meaningful to me and that would inspire and captivate my audience. But most importantly, I wanted to have fun again. I didn't want to see anything."

Nicki was also featured on Post Malone's track "Ball for Me" off his newly released album Beerbongs & Bentleys.
