During his A Helping Hand benefit show in Pompano Beach, Florida this weekend, XXXTentacion gave an indirect shout-out to his "Fuck Love" collaborator Trippie Redd.

"I was not a good person, but I been trying my best to change myself," X told the Florida crowd just before launching into the track. "I got a song with this amazing artist, bro. There is an amazing artist that I made this song with, bro. And I know that this motherfucker probably hates me for whatever reason he has, but I don't care. I'm taking this as a chance to say, bro, I love you and I love the world, bro."

Redd was alerted to footage of the comments, later responding to X directly via Instagram. "I'm always in your corner and I also apologize for anything I've said about you," he said Monday. "I don't hate u." Redd and X previously had their differences amid Redd's work with Drake, with Redd ultimately accusing X of "switching sides" by spending time with 6ix9ine.

Friday, X released a new 18-track project titled ? and featuring contributions from Joey Badass, PnB Rock, and Travis Barker.

X has also been accused of coercing the alleged victim in his ongoing domestic violence case into signing a document asking for the case to be dropped entirely. In December, he was hit with multiple felony charges related to alleged witness harassment and witness tampering discovered while reviewing his from-jail phone conversations. He was later released under strict house arrest conditions.
