LA rapper Cozz has been killing for a while, and his debut on J. Cole's Dreamville was proof. But now he's gearing up to release the proper follow-up to 2014's Cozz & Effect, and thankfully we won't have to wait too long to hear it. After dropping his Nothin Personal mixtape at the beginning of 2016, he started work on his forthcoming album, Effected, which is coming out February 13.

Revealing the release date alongside the tracklist and art on Twitter, he also dropped a new song featuring Garren. If the Meez-produced "Bout It" is any indication, we're in for a treat when Effected drops next week.

The album is set to feature appearances from Currensy, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. With just how hard Cozz went with that recent freestyle he dropped during a stop by the Power 106 studios with the L.A. Leakers, there's a sense that this is going to be even better than his previous releases.

We've already heard the somber "Questions" so far, as well as "Ignorant Confidence" and "Badu," which can all be streamed below as we await the release of Effected.
