The 2017 American Music Awards are here! Hosted by Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross, the 45th annual event is being held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Unlike an awards show like, say, the Grammys, the AMAs leave the voting power in the hands of the fans.
Bruno Mars leads the pack in nominations with eight while Ed Sheeran and Drake have five noms each. All three are in the running for Favorite Male Artist: Pop/Rock and make up 60 percent of the nominees for Artist of the Year, alongside The Chainsmokers and Kendrick Lamar.
