It's hard to believe that it's been four years since the Harlem rap collective known as the ASAP Mob put out its last mixtape Lords Never Worry. Time really does fly doesn't it? And while its many members—ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg being the most notable—have flourished in their respective solo careers, many fans have been left wondering when the group might get back together to give us more music. According to Ferg, that might be happening sooner than we thought.

Ferg is currently in the middle of a short run of shows with Anderson .Paak in Australia, where he recently sat down for an interview with a publication called Triple J to give an update on the Mob's group project. "The album is dropping soon," he said. "We actually shot the album cover already and everything is getting edited and mixed up and everything. I don't know exactly when it's dropping—I don't have a date. I'm the wrong person to ask. I presume it's coming out soon 'cos we shot the cover. This album is gonna be called The Cozy Tape."

Now, before you get too excited, the Mob has a history of setting up release dates and blowing way past them, so who really knows what "soon" means in this case. It should be noted that Ferg also mentioned that he's hard at work on the follow-up to his album Always Strive and Prosper, which dropped earlier this year. "I'm working on a new album, that's actually what I'm gonna be doing when I leave here, I'm going to LA," he told Tribe J. "So, I got two more days in Australia and then I leave to LA and work on my album. I'll be out there for about two weeks".
