Few artists are as polarizing in the rap world today as Desiigner. But whether you love the guy or hate him, you can't deny that when it comes time to perform, the "Panda" rapper goes completely out of his mind in a way that's wholly unique and endlessly fascinating to watch. The second the beat drops, he morphs from an imposing, lanky, 19-year old kid into a whirlwind ball of energy that has inspired literally thousands of memes.
One person who definitely caught on to Desiigner's antics is ScHoolboy Q. The West Coast rapper, who just yesterday finally released his hotly anticipated fourth album Blank Face LP, recently filmed a few of clips of himself on Snapchat conducting a dead-on impersonation of the young G.O.O.D. Music signee. In the videos, he adopts Desiigner's go-to multi-dabs while also impersonating the young MC's signature tongue roll. He even parodies a few lines of a "Panda" about his take out chicken.
The whole thing feels like more of a fun send up than a real shot at Desiigner. Q and Desiigner's label boss Kanye West appear pretty tight these days, with the latter contributing a monster verse to the former's hit single "THat Part." In a recent interview, Q talked about how he felt when he received West's contributions to the song. "I was like oh he served me, this is why I didn't ask him... My heart was breaking with every 'OK,' and then I'm like oh I get it. And then I played it again I was like that's why he's Kanye West."
