They told DJ Khaled he’d never tour, and they told him he’d never touch a stage, so you can imagine how hyped he became when he was picked to go on tour with the one and only Beyoncé.
The DJ/producer/radio personality opened for Queen Bey during the North American leg of her “Formation” world tour. Following the tour’s final stop in the U.S., Khaled wrote a heartfelt thank you letter to Beyoncé, which, naturally, he shared on social media.
"Beyoncé I want to say thank you for allowing me to bring my energy and passion on stage every night. Thank you for allowing me to bring on all the artists who jumped on stage with me to bring the fans a special energy called Major Key Alert!!!!," he wrote in an Instagram post. "Beyoncé I want to say thank you for providing me and the millions of millions of fans across the globe your amazing talent and music and performance. You're the queen!!!!"
In true Khaled fashion, he also used the letter to remind his fans they should always work hard and never give up on their goals. He explained that in order to stand beside Beyoncé, the same women who made him nervous, he had to dedicate his sweat, blood, and tears for more than two decades.
