Yesterday, allegations came out that T.I. requested $40,000 to appear at a funeral and the Atlanta rapper is not having any of it. "#LIES," T.I. vehemently stated on his Instagram. "Ain’t nobody contacted me for no such thing. Let alone me charge someone to attend a funeral. What people should do is be aware of who they’re contacting & not believe every Tom Dick & Hank who says they’re connected." He went on to say that you shouldn't believe everything that you read and that he has actually done services many in the past. "Check my resume’ I’ve payed for funerals & sent kids to college… Charging 40k to attend a funeral ain’t even in my repertoire…. #KnockItOFF.”

If you're not familiar with the story, a 12-year-old boy nicknamed Tip was tragically shot and killed in a drive-by shooting. The family later requested that T.I. attend the funeral, and somehow a report came out that the rapper requested $40,000 to attend, which again, he aggressively denied. You can read T.I's full statement below.
