Though Kendrick Lamar just released a new project—albeit full of very good untitled demos—he's already back in the studio working on new music. The footage of Kendrick in the studio comes from Dave Free's Snapchat, and was posted sometime after Kendrick and the TDE crew attended the Los Angeles Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers game at Staples Center last night. While the snaps don't really tease too much, Kendrick can be seen recording in the studio and also thumbing through a stack of $2 bills as music plays in the background.
With TDE set to release plenty of music this year, there's a solid chance that Kendrick was working on something for the crew, but there's also a possibility that he's already back working on new solo music. Whatever the case, it's never a bad thing to see Kendrick Lamar recording new music. As for his untitled unmastered. project, it's currently No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart after moving 178,000 copies in its first week of sales. Safe to say that life is good for Kendrick at the moment. Check out the footage of him in the studio below.
