It's been far too long since we've heard any new music from Justin Timberlake, but that's about to change come next November. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Timberlake has signed on to executive produce the music and official soundtrack for the upcoming Dreamworks Animation film, Trolls. Not only will Timberlake be the executive producer, but he'll also be writing and performing new original songs for the film and the soundtrack.

In addition to overseeing the music for the movie, Timberlake will also lend his voice for the character Branch in the film. "I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn’t be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks’ Trolls," Timberlake told THR. Timberlake's new music for the film will mark the first time he's dropped anything original since part two of his 20/20 Experience album came out in 2013. Look for Trolls to hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.
