Drake caused a firestorm on Twitter when he went after Kanye Westâs pool size on âSummer Sixteen.â Hereâs the line again in case you missed it: âI used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella then I turned into Jay / Now I got a house in L.A., now I got a bigger pool than âYe / And look, man, âYeâs pool is nice, mineâs just bigger is what Iâm sayinâ.â
Word? Pools are worthy of a diss in hip-hop now? Well, Drakeâs actually been very vocal about having a gigantic swimming pool in his lifetime. In a February 2014 feature with Rolling Stone, he once spoke about his ambitions to own a luxury water oasis.
"I'm obsessed with, like, residential pools. One of my goals in life is to have the biggest residential pool on the planet."
Drizzy, who doesnât seem to go against his word, did exactly that. The YOLO Estate in Hidden Hills is something to marvel at. You want to look at photos to get an idea of how massive Drakeâs pool is. But youâre better off looking through these old Instagram videos of when he threw a crazy pool party last year to get a sense of scale. Homie's got a waterfall!
Thereâs no way of telling how Westâs pool pales in comparison with his. Westâs private life isnât exactly all over social media, but there have been curious fans digging up pictures of his pool when they Googled it. Drake ainât lying.

What does this mean for Kanye? Will he pull the OG card on Drizzy for going after his pool? Honestly, this is the scenario we all want, right?
