One dedicated Kendrick Lamar fan apparently wanted more than just her $350 VIP meet-and-greet package and ended up with nothing. According to TMZ, Whitney Larkins emailed Kendrick's manager Dave Free asking for three minutes of solo time with the rapper, and Free reportedly replied by saying it was possible with a "cash payment of $10,000." Larkins was still interested in the meeting and asked Kendrick's team for more information. On the night of the show, Free reportedly emailed Larkins and told her she was banned from the concert and that she would be refunded her $350.00. Larkins responded with a lawsuit.
In the lawsuit, Larkins said she experienced "deep sadness" as a result of the situation and demanded $1 million to make it go away. She also said her anger is not with Kendrick, who she calls, "one of the greatest rappers alive of all time who is on par with Tupac." No response from Free yet who's probably pretty busy after Kendrick received those much deserved 11 Grammy nominations. Read why To Pimp A Butterfly is the best album of 2015.
