āRadio personalityĀ Ebro DardenĀ andĀ producerĀ Mike WiLL Made-ItĀ got into a spat on twitter today over Darden's claims thatĀ Rae SremmurdĀ don't write their own raps.
In a year in which hip-hop fans grappled with the place of ghostwriting in the culture (thanks toĀ a controversy overĀ Drake'sĀ alleged use of a lyric writer),Ā EbroĀ casually accused the brothers of not writing their own rhymes, saying, "They didn't write that shit. Any of it. Maybe some of it.Ā MikeĀ WiLL-MadeĀ Itāyou know that his name is MikeĀ WiLL-MadeĀ It? HeĀ madeĀ that album. They'reĀ KrissĀ Krossā. It was a fabricated thing that we all liked."
MikeĀ WiLLĀ isn't having it. The prolific Atlanta producer took to Twitter tonight and wondered, "ifĀ SremmĀ didn't write they raps whoĀ tfĀ did."
