Kanye West Will Appear On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' During SXSW Next Week

It looks like Kanye West is set to invade Austin, Texas next week, as Jimmy Kimmel officially confirmed that 'Ye will be a special guest on his show during SXSW. Rumors were circulating for a few weeks on if Kanye would actually be in town for the event, but according to Kimmel, 'Ye will be on his show on March 20 live from Austin.

Along with the appearance on Kimmel's program, 'Ye will reportedly be performing at a handful of shows during the weekend that are also rumored to feature Big Sean. Despite the rumors, no official shows or performances from Kanye have been announced at this time, but stay tuned for updates as the event draws closer. UPDATE 3/20/15: According to Page Six, Kanye will no long appear on the program this evening. The report states that 'Ye was scheduled to appear in the "Mean Tweets" segment and another sketch, but it feel through. “We were never confirmed . . . We took extraordinary steps and worked directly with the show to make it happen. Logistics were insurmountable," said a rep for Kanye.
