If you follow EDM on Twitter, you've no doubt thought "shit, Avicii and Taylor Swift look a lot alike!" That's probably why Avicii tweeting the above picture back in September went viral–we're talking almost 4,900 retweets and over 7,000 favorites. Oddly enough, that isn't even the most retweeted EDM music tweet of 2014, according to Twitter's 2014 "Year in Music" recap of music-related tweets from the past 12 months. That distinction belongs to this Tiesto's love for Mexico, which garnered over 21,000 retweets:

This list also includes Calvin Harris apparently tweeting about his break-up with Rita Ora, Martin Garrix getting bro-y with Ed Sheeran, and deadmau5 reacting to the initial Rain Man / Krewella lawsuit. There's nothing too exciting going on here, honestly, but then again, most of the EDM Twitter scene is hanging with your pals and talking shit about current topics, as well as bigging up somewhere you just visited.
