Only a true artist could turn nothing into something. That's the task at hand for Erick Sermon, who is featured on Mass Appeal's "Rhythm Roulette" series this week. The respected producer and one half of the legendary group EPMD is taken to a record store in Brooklyn where he is blindfolded and forced to choose three records at random. Once that's done, Sermon has to take these three records and make a beat from scratch. Check out the full episode of "Rhythm Roulette" above to see what he comes up with. Here's a hint: You won't be disappointed.
