The recent TDE's signee and one of 2014's buzziest acts, Isaiah Rashad, had one hell of a debut with his Cilvia Demo EP. The 14-track "demo" actually represented a new direction from the roster in the form of the razor-sharp, heady southern rapper, who was received nearly unanimously with praise from critics.

Complex News got the chance to sit down with Rashad last week at SXSW 2014 inside The COMPLEX Complex, and ask him about the production of the Cilvia Demo, what his favorite track off it was, and also: What's with those scratched-out words on the cover?
