Nico Segal, a former member of band Kids These Days and current member of the Save Money collective, released an EP in June called the Donnie Trumpet EP. Today, he releases a video for "Don't Leave," his collaboration with Vic Mensa. While Vic is not actually present in any scenes, is verse can be heard as Segal (under the Donnie Trumpet moniker) watches his girlfriend try on clothes in front of the mirror. The video, directed by Naveen Chaubal and produced by Michael Uzowuru, centers around these themes of love and longing, and convey the emotions perfectly.
Aside from his latest EP, Segal has been on the Social Experiment tour this fall with Chance The Rapper. He also serves as Frank Ocean's trumpet player.
