James Blake grabs Chance The Rapper for the remix of "Life Round Here."
With the original version found on Blake's sophomore album Overgrown, the two artists display an eccentric musical dynamic that connects Chance's raw energy of Chicago to Blake's melodic gloom of London.
Chance has proven on past mixtapes 10 Day and Acid Rap that he's comfortable rapping over unorthodox backdrops, and his delivery here is no different. "I'm a chill pill addict" he acutely raps before shouting out Nas and mumbling about life. This collaboration is everything you would expect and more.
