Drake's love for Aaliyah transcends time and space, reaching beyond the grave into the afterlife. It doesn't even matter that he never actually met her. Attempting to executive produce a posthumous Aaliyah album might have seemed odd (especially since frequent Aaliyiah collaborators Timbaland, Missy Elliott, et al. had no clue about the project). But who could blame Drake for wanting to bestow more Aaliyah music upon the masses? The Aaliyah portrait ear-piece was a little weird. The gigantic Aaliyah portait back tattoo was a little creepy. The letter he wrote to Aaliyah on the ninth anniversary on her death was a lot creepy. But how can you hate someone for finding the one true love of their life and never getting to be with that person? Such a tragedy. Their tale parallels a modern day Romeo and Juliet.
