You know what I love? Surprises that hit the inbox. I don't know Wilks from a hole in the wall, and based on the small number of tracks on his SoundCloud, I'd imagine he's just getting his name out there. I'll tell you what, though: I'll sleep no more. With the release of "Ghetto," we get a nice mesh of sounds. You get the deep house sound with a dash of that tech, both driving towards a darker feel, but keeping it funky enough to have you sweating. This Song Slaps called "Ghetto" a mixture "between Gesaffelstein and Gorgon City," and they've totally hit the mark. Smart DJs in need of a megaton bomb for their shows this weekend better get on this one early!
