Rapper Los has been in and out with Bad Boy for nearly a decade; he passed on joining the cast of Making the Band 2, signed to Bad Boy a couple years later, and was cut loose in '08—at which point, he built up local buzz in his native Baltimore, which found Diddy crawling back. Last year the rapper was signed—again—to Bad Boy records. Baltimore writer Al Shipley was cautiously optimistic in this piece last year on the rapper's chances.

It does look like the mogul-formerly-known-as-Puffy is putting his money where his mouth is this time around; Los' Becoming King mixtape dropped last week, and it's got some pretty high-profile collaborations. Twista, Fantasia, Pusha T, Yo Gotti, CassieLudacris, and Wiz Khalifa all slide through for guest spots, and beats are provided by names like Harry Fraud and Sonny Digital

The "OD" video just leaked; compared to some of the other songs on the tape, it's a little slight as a song, but gives a good idea of Los' undeniable skills as a rapper.
