Remember how the City of Miami was trying to shut down Ultra's request for having this year's Ultra Music Festival span two weekends as opposed to just one? It looks like the nuisance and noise violations weren't that bad, given the Miami PD's arrest numbers from both weekends of the Ultra Music Festival.
There was a total of 167 people arrested; while there were arrests for narcotics, the majority of the arrests were due to people trying to hop fences. When you consider that this year's UMF pulled in 330,000 people, that's not even 1% of the total number of attendees. We've also not heard any word about overdoses, which is always a relief.
Now our question is: We imagine Miami ended up raking in loads of cash; will Miami reconsider another two-weekend Ultra Music Festival in the future?
