Just days after Sub Pop released the instrumentals to Frank-N-Dank’s 48 Hours on vinyl, there’s yet another posthumous J Dilla album on the way. The Diary, a vocal record of Dilla’s from the early 2000’s, will finally see the light of day soon via the late Detroiter’s own Pay Jay Productions. Unlike most of Dilla’s work, The Diary finds him taking the front seat and rapping while the likes of Madlib, Pete Rock, Nottz, House Shoes and Karriem Riggins produce.

Two tracks produced by J himself, “Anthem” and “Trucks,” will soon be available on 12” vinyl and today we get audio of the former. Listen to that below, pick up the single April 15 and look out for The Diary this spring on Pay Jay.
