Pusha T may be internationally known, but the current G.O.O.D. Music recording artist keeps close to his family. After speaking with Complex earlier this year about Cruel Summer outtakes, Chicago hip-hop and his album delays, he took a minute to reminisce about his first major purchase after getting money.
What was the first thing you bought when you got rich?
I bought my mom’s Jaguar in 2001. I ain’t had no hits. Zero. I can’t even speak for that.
How much did it cost?
It was a new body at the time. It was around $60,000.
Does she still have it?
Yeah. You know what’s so funny? She does and she has absolutely no miles on it. It didn’t go anywhere. They towed it the other day and she really needs to start driving her car. I guess she can get rid of it. I don’t know. I’ll find something to do with it.
