Of all the artists slated to put out albums in 2013, perhaps the most surprising is Jimi Hendrix. 32 years after the legendary guitarist’s death, a new album of previously unreleased tracks is expected to hit stores early next year.

People, Hell and Angels is a 12-song collection of “experimental” cuts recorded in 1968 and 1969, which were originally intended for the long shelved First Rays of the New Rising Sun. Look out for Jimi’s new record March 5.
