Machine Gun Kelly is gearing up to release his new album, Lace Up, in August. During his interview with VLADTV, he shared the meaning behind the “Lace Up” lifestyle his fans share and revealed some guest features on the album.
“Lace Up is a lifestyle. It’s everything I stand for," he said. "It’s everything my fans stand for. It’s tattooed on our bodies for life. It’s something that I can never explain to the general public because its something beautiful that you have to discover for yourself. You are going to have to find your own meaning in it. But the album is definitely one of the best albums of the decade and will be a problem at the Grammys 100 percent."
The Cleveland rapper listed the features on his Bad Boy debut, which will have MGK trading rhymes with Twista and Tech N9NE on a track together. Veterans DMX and Bun B will also appear.
“These are timeless features,” he said. “It’s not like I got so and so who’s just hot right now. These songs will forever be hot because that person will be forever going down in history.”
