Complex and Sony have gotten together with Fabolous to help launch the Xperia ion smartphone through a series of live concerts. If the first show, which went down last night at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom, is any indication of things to come, then this could be the year’s most talked about three-city tour.
Frequent Complex contributor Miss Info hosted the event, which had Troy Ave and Asher Roth opening. Fab then took the stage and tore it up, performing classic hits alongside recent mix-tape tracks, with the help of a live band and guests Lloyd Banks and Ryan Leslie. The capacity crowd was in it from start to finish after waiting through the rain to get in.
