Jay Electronica rapped on his song "Call Of Duty" with Prodigy that he was having "lunch with the Rothschilds, dinner with the Carters." Well, that wasn't just a made-up line. According to Daily Mail UK, Jay Electronica is the reason why Ben Goldsmith and his music producer wife Kate, a member of the extremely wealthy Rothschild family, are now getting a divorce, due to what they call her "passionate love affair with an American rap singer named Jay Electronica."
Supposedly, the marriage ended this past week in dramatic fashion when Ben confronted Kate about a slew of sent and received text messages and emails between her and Jay Elect. When she admitted to the affair, Ben supposedly slapped her and threw a toy at her. The police were called, and Ben was arrested, before being released with a caution.
It seems as though Jay and Kate have been hanging out frequently for the past year until the wee hours of the morning (Daily Mail reports that Jay is signed to her Round Table record label), sometimes with her staying with Jay, and they have also kept in touch on Twitter. Jay even posted a pic of her aboard a helicopter.
