Billy Corgan is no stranger to the stage, but you may be suprised to know he's pretty familiar with the ring, too. The Smashing Pumpkins fontman has played a role behind the scenes in the wrestling business for nearly a decade and is now looking to take his talents to another level.
Corgan will hop into the seat of "creative director" for his newly-built wrestling company, RESISTANCE Pro. He will be providing the scripts and story lines to all of the events. Corgan also hopes to increase awareness of concussions and the dangers they can cause through his new company. Watch the news clip below for more details on Corgan's new business venture.
Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins are expected to release Oceania later this year, making it their first album in four years.
