Towards the end of June, Sean Kingston was released from the hospital after a jet ski accident. Soon after, he announced that he was feeling much better and was thankful for all the support. The injuries were reported as a couple of broken bones and water in his lungs. Apparently, things were much more serious than that.
Last night, Sean sat down with MTV and shared the fact that he had to undergo open heart surgery following the accident. After coming out of the risky procedure alive and well, Sean says he's much more positive and appreciative for life's blessings. He's currently working on his next album, and now he's got a pretty intense story to tell.
