There's a new girl in town to keep your eyes on. 25-year-old NYC singer Lana Del Ray describes herself as a "gangster Nancy Sinatra" and her sound as "Hollywood Sad Core" and we couldn't think of a better way to put it.
"Video Games" is the track that's about to put her on the map and it's easy to see why. The vocals are sultry and intoxicating and she has a knack for romantic narratives. The song is fire, for sure, and the rest of the records on her YouTube page sound good. Now let's see what she does with the inevitable buzz that's about to surround her.
