Release date: December 12th
Any regular Ghostface Killah album would get a higher spot on this list, but Def Jam has cashed in on Ghostface's hardcore fanbase with pre-Christmas releases (2006's More Fish and 2008's GhostDeini the Great) twice before. It's not that those records were bad, it's just that they were filled with leftovers, b-sides, and remixes, so we couldn't consider them "real" releases. Plus, Ghost has already admitted Apollo Kids will only be a stepping stone to bigger things (Supreme Clientele 2, maybe?), so we doubt this album will be anything more than an appetizer for his insatiable fans. Despite all that, we're always down to listen to what D. Coles has to say.
