Best Mixtape Trilogies

#9. Juelz Santana - Back Like Cooked Crack Series
Released: 2004-2006
Best Installment: Back Like Cooked Crack Pt. 2
Complex Says: Just like labelmate Joe Budden, Juelz found himself benched by Def Jam when his debut album wasn't as successful as they'd hoped. Unlike Budden, Santana's mixtape trilogy actually convinced Def Jam to release his sophomore album, What the Game's Been Missing!. The highlight of the series was Part 2, which featured "Mic Check," a song that got Santana's name buzzing again and eventually served as the album's street single.
