Bingo Players

Back in the summer, after being admitted to the hospital in June for an emergency procedure, the Bingo Players revealed in July that Paul Baümer had been diagnosed with cancer. Maarten had held up strongly for the crew, from touring to running their imprint, but it's with a heavy heart that we report that Paul has passed away, succumbing to the cancer he was diagnosed with earlier this year.

With word that New York's Roseland Ballroom is set to be close in April of 2014, these are the last days of EDM events at the historic venue. Don't cry, though; that just means you have to rage harder 'til the end. Tonight, the Bingo Players' Rattle & Roll tour hits the Roseland, and they brought Bassjackers and MAKJ to party. A little over a month ago, Paul from the Bingo Players announced that he'd been having some medical issues that were immediately looked at, and that forced Paul to not attend a number of Bingo Players shows over the last month. Earlier today, he hit Facebook to let the world know that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

Add Paul from the Bingo Players to the list of EDM acts who are currently hospitalized. While there isn't word on what he was admitted for, the following notes hit their Facebook page on Thursday...
