The first ever Safe and Sound Music Festival went down this past Sunday at Westminster Pier Park in the New Westminster area of Vancouver, BC. With the beautiful Fraser River as a backdrop, attendees were treated to performances from some of the best Canadian talent—including Vancouver-based R&B artist Hayleau; synthpop-R&B duo Majid Jordan and their OVO Sound labelmates dvsn; and R&B/soul songstress Jessie Reyez—in an intimate setting.

Rapper k-os also made a rare appearance at the festival, proclaiming that it would be his "first and last show of 2017" on Twitter.
