Did you guys know that it's #DuragHistoryWeek? Well, if you didn't, now you know. Remember Non-Black People, you can join in on the celebrate, but please, for the love of god, don't do so by actually wearing a durag or you run the risk of being canonized in the "roasted for wearing a durag" portion of Durag History Week. In order to do our part to commemorate this hallowed week of human history, we here at Four Pins have decided to memorialize the god Rick Owens' Fall/Winter 2014 collection, most likely referred to these days as the "Durag Collection," featuring some extremely wavy durags with flowing capes not seen on individuals since Robert Kelly found himself in the middle of the desert for his "Snake" music video back in '03. In our humble opinion, this particular series of 41 looks and their accompanying durags is even more iconic than Rick's now infamous collection but a year later that featured a bunch of exposed, flaccid dills sashaying down the runway.

Shout out to Rick and his durags for their mother superior-like proportions. The pairing of durags and bulletproof vest-esque garments was a genius stroke clearly inspired by the great 50 Cent and one that only the dark lord of the drop crotch himself could ever think of taking all the way to Paris. Also, Rick deserves an incredible shout out that can be heard all the way to the heavens to for putting durags in a collection that appears to only feature TWO black models, NEITHER OF WHICH IS EVEN WEARING A FUCKING DURAG. I know that this week in particular, we should be using the durag to bring ourselves closer together and not drive 360 waves between us, but YOU (STILL) CRAZY FOR THIS ONE, RICK.
