In Ralph Lauren's first of two shows this season—the label will also present a Polo collection at the debut New York Fashion Week: Men's next month—the God showcases his high-end menswear offering, Purple Label.
Ralph Lauren Purple Label's Spring/Summer 2016 collection includes a spectrum of luxe European-informed designs. It begins with elevated technical pieces, like outwear and sweaters with racing stripes and hits of leather that look made for a Formula 1 racer. There's also a section inspired by the Italian coast that features an impressive trench coat, as well as sweaters, trousers, and joggers in light, summery colors, such as white, yellow, and orange. The last portion consists of Ralph Lauren's refined suiting, filled with intricately-patterned options, slippers stamped with the designer's initials, and a classic tuxedo.
