I am all the way in on Unused at this point. The last couple of collections have spoken to me on a metaphysical-astral-projection-float-above-your-body-and-see-yourself-as-an-otherworldly-flex-object type of way. That made little to no sense, which is exactly how you know just how deeply I connect with this clothing. The F/W 15 lookbook just dropped and boy it is fucking drippy. It's also extremely large. Unused is by and large a unisex clothing brand, so you can crossover and cop that pink topcoat to your heart's content without anyone shouting in your face about outdated gender norms. The layering game is key here. I mean, this dude Ryoichi Kamuran seriously dropped some casual wool pants beneath a pair of jeans. That's fucking commitment. I also like the commitment to grouping colors together, oscillating from mostly blue to olive to white to black and red to grey and brown. It's more of that good ol' "color story" you always keep hearing about. So, what can those of you who are blind, but have someone translate Four Pins into braille for you expect? Oversized, sack-like coats, cozy wool pants, denim outerwear, VERY long sweaters, some velour pieces, leather jackets and everything in between that really hits on all the shit we love. It's tough to get your hands on this stuff outside of Japan, but take a look at the stockists to see what direction to point your proxy in.
