There’s been no official confirmation yet, but the word out there is that Rihanna is close to inking a seven-figure deal to design sneakers and clothing for Puma.
An insider told the New York Daily News that the focus will be shoes, “but she will also be helping with pants and tops.” In addition to producing footwear and apparel, the contract is said to ensure RiRi is seen out and about wearing Puma gear, and prevent her from wearing any rival-brands.
Rihanna has already worked with other brands on high profile collaborations, from her underwear and denim with Armani to her full line for British store River Island. She has also had a few successful makeup collections for MAC.
