Andele Lara probably causes a lot of freak outs among onlookers. That's because the 22-year-old woman from Boston (pictured on the right) is a dead ringer for Rihanna.Â
Friends first pointed out her resemblance to Rihanna when Lara was 15 years old, she explained to Daily Mail.Â
"The comments started in my sophomore year. My friend had a magazine with Rihanna on the cover. He held it up to my face and was like 'You look like her!' ... Personally I never realized I looked like Rihanna. I do see some resemblance but not as much as everyone else, I think."
After bad girl RiRi dropped Loud in 2010, however, Lara could no longer deny the likeness. Strangers on the street began mistaking her for the pop singer. Now, Lara can't leave the house without getting swarmed by eager fans or hearing whispers of Rihanna's name—which sounds like a pain, but her looks have also helped her rake in a lot of money.
With over 21,000 followers on Instagram, Lara is also making a ton of money off clothing contracts. She says brands pay her over $20,000 to endorse their shoes, mascara, and hair accessories.Â
So is Rihanna aware of her doppelgänger? Maybe, considering the Barbadian singer has stumbled upon Lara's face before.
"One Rihanna fan page on Instagram mistakenly posted my picture with the caption, 'Rare pic of Rihanna,' and Rihanna actually commented on it with 'OH?!" Lara added.Â
