Until science discovers some way to halt the aging process, we’re forced to accept that getting older is a fact of life—a sometimes very scary fact of life. Between the possibility of wrinkles, receding hairlines, and lazy metabolisms, it’s safe to say that most of us have wondered how time will affect our physical appearance. But thanks to a new website called FutureSelf, we now have a way to prepare for the inevitable. And the it doesn't look pretty.

Launched by British telecom company Orange, the site uses facial recognition software that ages you approximately 20 years. Once your middle-aged avatar is generated, you can then interact with the face by asking it questions concerning your future. However, you should note that the answers are likely irrelevant to your actual life, but they are based on trends predicted for the next 20 years.

The results are clearly inaccurate, unless the older population will morph into eerie wax figures within the next two decades. But the concept is cool and provides an amusing distraction for those who are curious about what the future might hold.

Take a look at some of the creepy examples below. And if you’re interested, head over to the FutureSelf website to give it a try.
