Club Monaco qualifies as a sleeping giant at this point. It's not as big of an empire as J.Crew is, but its taste level ebbs and flows with the motion of the menswear ocean. They're even stocked at Mr. Porter now in an effot bring the CM taste to crowds overseas. The brand's F/W 14 campaign and lookbook—which is admittedly very confusing because they constantly churn out collections on, like, a monthly basis, so we're just going to stick with Fall/Winter—comes through with a solid crop of head-to-toe product you'll want to wear this winter. If there's one thing I have always known Club Monaco for, especially in recent years, it's the outerwear. CM consistently comes through in the clutch with a shapely topcoat in a nice fabric for a pretty reasonable pricepoint and peak lapels that might poke your eye out if you're not careful. You know, the sort of shit that might not blow you away, but was such a good deal that you can't stop wearing it.
