We as consumers have gotten smarter. Companies invest millions of dollars into the design and marketing of their products because, as we all know, a great logo design or catchphrase can really make or break a brand. What if, instead of embellishing their wares with self-praise and boasts, companies decided to speak the truth about their products? Would we be more inclined to invest in and trust a brand?
Clif Dickens, who is a designer for Huffington Post, redid the tag lines of some of our favorite brands, turning them into "Honest Slogans" that are a little closer to the truth. Seriously, some of them are pretty on point and hilarious. Perrier, "rich people water"? Lululemon Athletica, "women wear, men stare"? Dude knows. See them all here.
