Saturday night, the Alexander Wang Instagram posted a short video that unveiled the news of a collaboration between the label and H&M, with a November 6 debut. WWDcaught up with Wang out at Coachella, where the designer was planning on partying the night away at an event he was throwing with H&M. Details are still scant, but anyone who's waiting for this collabo will be hanging on every detail and only salivating more as info emerges.

According to Wang, the collaboration will include "a new element of lifestyle offering that's a completely new way of approaching the collaboration," but unfortunately, "it is too early to give away."

This is H&M's first high-end collaboration with an American designer, and WWD asked Wang what he thought of the fast-fashion business model. He replied, "It's a different era and a different world today and I think everything is changing, the whole system of fashion and design and I think there's an opportunity for everyone to create and do something that is different and individual."

Even with that vague of an answer, it sounds like Wang and his team have plans to execute the collaboration in a different manner than what's done before. He assured WWD that, "we wanted to approach this in our individual way. Time will tell how it unfolds."
