"Elysian Plain + Early Works" is an exhibition of 11 neon installations by pioneer of the medium, Keith Sonnier, his third solo exhibition to open at Pace Gallery. Scheduled to show from January 24 through February 22, the exhibition will feature new works as well as works dating back to the '60s from three of the artist's previous series: "BA-O-BA," "Neon Wrapping Incandescent," and "Neon Wrapping Neon."

A constant experimenter, the juxtaposition of early and new pieces by Sonnier will show the growth and inventiveness of an artist whose career spans 40 years and who has been the subject of over 130 solo and 360 group exhibitions. Check out the preview above and head to the Pace Gallery website for more information.
