Sometimes art is right in front of you. Los Angeles-based photographer Steven Taylor was recently on his way home after a difficult day at work when he stumbled upon what he called “simple but intriguing buildings with neon lights.” Intrigued by their subtle yet mysterious glow, he began taking photos. In what eventually became a bona fide project, the series captures the eerie glow of dazzling lights against an expansive inky backdrop.
