Mexican street artist and painter Favio Martinez, aka Curiot, has been creating a stir with his vibrant and highly detailed artwork, painting mostly in Mexico City. Although he spent part of his childhood in the United States, his works focus primarily on his Mexican heritage, depicting tribal themes and Mexican holidays, such as Day of the Dead. He creates his signature, eye-catching artwork by combining geometric shapes with bright colors to craft his imagery, which often includes mythical half-man, half-beast creatures. His imagery seems to combine Mexican culture with elements of science fiction.
